I wonder how DirectX 12 or even GPGPU (CUDA / OpenCL) will help the game improving its fps. The processor, memory and graphics card are kept in stock clock (reminded that Intel Turbo Mode and GeForce GPU Boost are in place, hyper-threading is turned on)ġ) I can run now a 50K city at 40 fps and a 655K city at 32 fps (compared to a 50K city at 20 - 30K fps and another larger city at 30fps is much better for me (no more noticeable lag and frame drop) but I suggest others not to focus too much on fps in this game. When I zoom in to the most close-up camera, I only get around 50% - 60% of the fps compared to default zoom.Ģ) I do not overclock unless otherwise specified. I would like to share my experience in case somebody is looking for improving fps and game lag.ġ) I am referring to fps at default zoom level in-game unless otherwise specified. Thanks all for your inputs and I have finally upgraded to an GeForce 1070 Ti and seeing around 10 fps gain and the game is now running at 30fps even for a 655K city as a benchmark
